| Welcome to your 'Jaano Eastern Bliss' tour! On arrival at the Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station, you will be transferred to Gangtok where on arrival you will check into your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. | |
| Day 02 | In Gangtok Excursion to Tshangu Lake (45 kms / approx. 3 hour drive) |
| After breakfast, Early in the morning, depart for a half-day excursion to Tshangu Lake (one has to obtain a permit directly in Gangtok to visit Tshangu Lake). Enjoy a yak ride around this lake (on direct payment basis). The rest of the day is at leisure to shop around the Tibetan Market. | |
| Day 03 | In Gangtok |
| After breakfast, Today, proceed on a city tour of Gangtok. Gangtok or 'Lofty Hill' as it is often called is situated along the picturesque Himalaya foothills. Visit Do Drul Chorten, the Enchey Monastery and the marvelous collection of orchids in the Orchid Sanctuary. The evening is at leisure. | |
| Day 04 | On to Kalimpong (85 kms / approx. 3 hour drive) |
| After breakfast, In the morning, drive to Kalimpong, a pretty hill station with the majestic Himalayas in the background and gently rolling hills around. Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Kalimpong in the afternoon visiting Dello Hills, Dr. Graham's home and the flower nurseries. | |
| Day 05 | On to Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri (115 kms / approx. 4 and Half hour drive) |
| After breakfast, Today bid farewell to your 'Jaano Eastern Bliss' tour, as you are transferred to Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station for your onward journey. | |
