Today you discover Switzerland's most famous landmark the Matterhorn. The Matterhorn glacier paradise (3,883 metres above sea level) is the highest sightseeing point in Europe, which is accessible by cableway. The exciting tour from Zermatt to the Matterhorn glacier paradise takes about 40 minutes. This morning get set to depart for an excursion to The Dragon Mountain - Pilatus. Board the cruise from Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad, then up to Pilatus by the steepest cogwheel railway in the world (from mid May to mid Nov). During winter you can take the bus from Lucerne to Kriens and further a panoramic gondola from Kriens to Pilatus. Overnight stay in Lucerne. Meals: Breakfast |

Take a 50 minute train ride and reach Zurich, the largest of Swiss cities situated on the Northern shore of the lake that bears the same name. Zurich retains much of its 19th century charm even today. Once here, take the time to hop on to an optional Trolley tour, stroll along the world famous Bahnhofstrasse or visit nearby Schaffhausen to view the majestic Rhine Falls.
