Warangal also known as Orugallu, Ekasila Nagaram and Andhra Nagaram is a city and a municipal corporation in Warangal district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Warangal is located 145 km northeast of the state capital of Hyderabad and is the administrative headquarters of Warangal District.

National Highway 202 passes through Warangal and connects it with Hyderabad and Bhopalpatnam in Chhattisgarh.From Hyderabad there are direct buses available at regular intervals to Warangal.
